Tampa Bay is world renowned for its tarpon fishing. Tarpon migrate here in the popular Spring to Summer months of April through July. Tarpon can get up to lengths of 8ft and reach weights of 200lbs. They are famous for skyrocketing out of the water and the average fish landed is over 100lbs. Take on the challenge of catching one of these beasts with Captain Jake!

What You’ll Catch

Tarpon will be our primary target during a Tarpon charter, but that doesn’t mean that’s the only thing you will catch.

A lot of times you will catch, grouper, cobia, kingfish, and even Permit as a by catch when tarpon fishing!

Be Prepaired

What to Bring

Sun Protection, make sure to bring a hat, glasses and wear sun screen. The Florida sun is no joke!
Food & Snacks, or we can always stop and grab a bite to eat at a local waterside restaurant!
Drinks & Beverages, waters will be provided but you can bring alcoholic beverages or your favorite drink.
